"I took the plunge and brought my own set of Nordic Walking poles and took my maiden solo voyage in the park near my house. I'm glad I took Pat's Nordic Walking class since it encouraged me to do this. Pat was extremely helpful in showing us how to adjust the poles and how to use them properly so our gait pattern was normal and improved. I believe this can be a really good way to get more out of my routine walks. It's a great arm and upper body workout and seems to relieve pressure on your leg joints. I highly recommend it if you're up for something new and are a walker already or want to be, but your legs need some assistance. Kudos to Pat for her adventurous spirit!"
